Dealer portal¶
The dealer portal is a second web store, priced for wholesale and open only to your FFL dealer customers. Inventory staff choose which models and guns appear on it and at what price.
Note
This page is about the B2B store where dealers buy from you. It is not the consignment dealer portal, where a partner dealer sells guns you sent them. For that, see Consignment portal.
Before you start¶
- The store credentials must be saved on Dealer WooCommerce Settings, and the dealer portal must be switched on for this site. Enable sync governs the scheduled reconcile and audit; the buttons push without it.
- Tick Publish to Dealer Portal on the Item first. Without it the server refuses the push with "Check 'Publish to Dealer Portal' on the Item before sending it to the dealer store."
- Set a dealer price. Without one, dealers see the retail price.
Publishing to the portal¶
Publish to Dealer Portal is a checkbox on the Item. It is the gate for the whole model, guns included. A per-serial firearm is published one gun at a time from the Serial No form, and each of those pushes still checks the parent Item's checkbox.
Once the checkbox is on, two buttons appear.

Delist from Dealer Portal asks you to confirm, then sets the product to draft on the dealer store, which hides it from dealers.
Untick Publish to Dealer Portal and the system takes the model down for you. The two-hourly reconcile has a pass that exists for this: it finds items and guns still listed for dealers whose Item no longer has the checkbox, and delists them.
Dealer Price and Dealer Sell Price¶
Which field carries the dealer price depends on how the model is priced.

A blank or zero value means the model is un-priced for dealers, and the store falls back to the retail price. When you tick Publish to Dealer Portal and leave the Item's dealer price empty, the Item form shows a yellow note that says "Published to dealer portal but no Dealer Price set, dealers will see the retail price."
The Item field is stamped by receiving
On the Item form the dealer price field is labeled Cost, and submitting a Purchase Receipt writes the receive cost into it. If you set a dealer price by hand on a uniform-priced model, receiving more of that model overwrites it. Check the number after every receipt on models you publish to the portal.
The retail price always travels with the product, so the dealer store can show what the gun sells for at retail alongside the dealer figure. A retail promotional price never travels. Sale prices are cleared on the dealer push so a storefront promotion cannot undercut negotiated wholesale pricing.
Dealer WooCommerce Settings¶
Dealer WooCommerce Settings is a separate page from WooCommerce Settings, identical to it field for field and holding its own credentials. See Integration settings.
The two stores are gated independently. Turning off Enable sync on the dealer store does not stop the retail store, and the reconcile throttles each store on its own clock.
What the dealer store never does¶
The retail store keeps a sold gun's page published at stock 0 so the URL and its search ranking survive. The dealer store does not. Every gun that leaves the shelf is delisted there, whether it sold or was pulled. The dealer store is not indexed, so there is no ranking to preserve, and the realized retail price must not reach the wholesale channel.
Dealer credit on the Customer record¶
Tick Is FFL Dealer on a Customer and the rest of the FFL Dealer section appears, holding the license details the store verifies against the ATF directory. See FFL verification.
Below it sits a collapsible Dealer Credit section with one field, Dealer Credit Limit. It records the ceiling the store has agreed with that dealer. The POS stores the figure for staff to read. Nothing at the counter or on the portal blocks an order that would exceed it, so treat the limit as a reference and check it before extending terms.
